Kim Peninger Hammonds is one of the original vocals in the group. She sings alto,lead and soprano when needed. She has had the privilege of recording a CD project which is listed on this site and has recorded back up vocals for other projects as well. She has also written a song or 2 of her own.She is the devoted mother of 2 sons, 6 yr old BJ and 2 yr old Blaine and the devoted wife of Bo Hammonds. The group thanks you for your understanding of the many nights that are spent away from home for practice and concerts.

Gaylyn Spanhanks is the lead and soprano vocal of the group and is the devoted wife of Mike Spanhanks. She and her husband have had many years of experience in Gospel Music and is among the best that you can find. Mike's writing abilities and vocals are a great blend with Gaylyn's strong vocals. Gaylyn has recorded several CD projects and has recorded back up vocals for other projects as well. Thank you Gaylyn for being as ready and willing as the rest of us. Also, thank you Mike, for giving up time with her so that she can practice and sing at concerts with the group.

Cynthia "Cindy" Peninger, an original vocal of the group, sings alto, and some lead. She has been a nurse for 8 years and has been singing since she was about 3 yrs. old. She traveled with a country gospel band,Crystal River Band, for several years and has been privileged to record 2 separate CD projects, only one of which is listed on this website on the products page. She has also recorded back up vocals for a few projects.

The group would like to first of all Thank the Lord our God for all the mercy, love and grace that He has shown us. We would also like to thank each of our parents for nurturing us in loving Christian homes. A special thank you goes out to Cliff and Betty Peninger. They are, and have been, the managers, treasurer and babysitters for all these years and that has been quite a job at times. We would also like to thank Ms. Avis Whittington for her endless support and following us to all the concerts that she can possibly attend. The early beginnings of the group started over 30 years ago when Cliff and Betty began to help train their daughters voices and encourage them to stand in front of an audience and sing. And though we have gone through many changes, we are more excited than ever that God has given us the desire to present the Word in song. Music is a large part of each of our lives and the group has been members of the 4States Gospel Music Association for the past 4 years. We love the Lord and our only desire is to spread the Word of God through song to as many people as we can. Romans 12:2(NIV) says, Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--His good, pleasing and perfect will. We believe that the music ministry is the will of God for our lives and our prayer is that we always be viewed as a peculiar people that exalts the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and that we never loose sight of Him and become conformed to the ways of this world.
